Mission
Make every tonne accountable.
To give India's cities and industries waste systems that are measurable, compliant and circular — and to share the data openly with the people we serve.
We started with a single collection contract in western Uttar Pradesh. Today Biota Saviour runs some of India's most demanding waste operations — and we still answer the phone in Meerut.
Our story
“Waste is only waste when a system fails. Our job is to build systems that don't.”
— Our founding principle
Biota Saviour was founded in Meerut in 2014 by a team of civil and environmental engineers who had watched the city's waste pile up on its outskirts for years. Our first contract covered twelve wards and four vehicles.
We learned early that collection alone doesn't solve anything. Waste has to be segregated, processed and sold back into the economy — or it simply moves from one place to another. So we built every step of the chain ourselves.
Today we work with municipal corporations, manufacturers and national brands in 11 states. Our engineering, fleet maintenance and training still happen at our Meerut headquarters — because the standards set here travel with us everywhere.
Mission
To give India's cities and industries waste systems that are measurable, compliant and circular — and to share the data openly with the people we serve.
Vision
A country where what we throw away becomes compost, fuel and raw material — and where the people who handle it are respected, protected professionals.
What we stand for
Clients see the same live data we do. Every vehicle, every weighbridge slip.
If a shortcut breaks a rule, it isn't a shortcut. We'd rather lose a bid.
Fair wages, PPE, insurance and a career path for everyone on our sites.
Landfill is the last resort we design out — not the place we design around.
Milestones
First door-to-door collection contract: 12 wards, 4 vehicles.
A 30 TPD MRF that brought 60 waste pickers into formal employment.
Our first legacy dumpsite remediation project in Uttar Pradesh.
Operations expand beyond UP into Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Plastic and e-waste EPR services for national brand owners.
2,600 people, 380 vehicles and 4 lakh tonnes kept out of landfill.
